This car had a few things extra custom ordered from the factory by the original owner that makes this car that much more rare to find beyond its anything but a rusted out beater like the mass majority of remaining Biturbos that are on the road.

Things that utterly irritate me about this car... At the dream cruise, it was involved in a hit-and-run (someone backed into it). The left quarter panel has a small dent in it and the tail light lens was damaged. Parts are available and very reasonably priced contrary to popular belief about this car.

I would like a car that is of equal value or a beater car that can last me at least 6 months and cash to keep it running for the duration.

Still gets around 30 miles to the gallon.
The paint is in pretty good condition except for a few small scratches for a 25 year old car. About $1500 was just spent into the suspension, along with a new starter and starter solenoid.
The tires are still really good.
This car has been taken really good care of but can use work on the interior. I no longer want the car nor do i have the time to spend detailing it. It would be a great hobby car.

The rear suspension parts are original, so I would replace all the bushings and repack the bearings.
The body is solid, the hood and the passenger side fender were dipped and repainted, and new inner and outer rockers were installed. There is a new drivers side fender, and new baffle plates and seals on both sides. The frame was strengthened at the notorious rear cross with a 1/4 steel plate welded in.
The body is far from perfect though, there is surface rust in places from sitting (always garage kept and heated in winter). There are little dings and dents, the rear seams have been filled, and there are some small fiberglass repairs. The doors are very solid, but the inner workings are old and frozen, it will need new window parts but the glass is good. The interior is not finished, but the carpet and seats are good, not perfect. The windshield is good, but a new seal needs to be installed, you may notice the windscreen is now being held in place by caulk and some crappy temporary holders so I could limp her up to a show nearby.
It needs speedo and tach cables, the blower works fine, and the gauges all work. The trans is perfect, with a new slave cylinder, and line. The front calipers have been rebuilt,
but the bleeder on one side is stripped a little, new front brake lines, new rear wheel cylinders; the master cylinder needs to be either sleeved or replaced, I honed it and put in new seals, but I have no rear brakes. I have driven the car around the neighborhood, but the brakes are only good enough to drive up on a trailer. The bumpers have small dings and the chrome is decent, the front grill needs to be cleaned up and mounted. There is a brand new top waiting to be installed, and a serviceable tonneau cover. The emission stuff is not installed, but I have it, and the buyer also gets a treasure trove of other parts, basically all the triumph parts I have if you want them. The original block and head, extra bumpers, gauges, the correct luggage rack, extra rear shocks, rotors, wheels, half shafts, drive shafts, brake drums, etc. This is the 6th Triumph I've owned, and I can tell you with a little work and money this could be a 90-point car, and my price is fair.
I can send more pictures, and answer any questions, but here's the bottom line:
The car needs a paint job, about $300 dollars worth of parts, and about 80 hours to make it a very nice roadster.
