Kundalini Reiki is an advanced form of Reiki, in that the level one attunement is the equivalent to Usui Reiki's level 3.
Due to this fact, often it is recommended (but in no way is it a prerequisite) for those who are becoming attuned to Kundalini Reiki to already have "gotten their feet wet" with the Usui Shiki Ryoho system.

Ultimately this is in order to free human kind from many kinds of intellectual arrogance.
There is no validation for "lineage" required from this form of energy work because it is directly served through the great spiritual ascended master.
This is most likely why it is so powerful.

Kundalini Reiki is unfettered by pretentious "breeding papers".
All Kundalini Reiki practitioners urge those who they attune to get themselves to level 3 as soon as possible and if one can not afford it, often the attunements are given at a very reasonable rate so that one can manage it.
This way, the hierarchical bullocks are dissolved and inevitably children will even be able to freely attune each other.
