Established band looking for new lead singer for cover band, have done originals. We would like someone who can do vocals for a wide range of material, someone familiar with rock from the 50s through today and familiarity with the blues since we gig as a blues band sometimes too. Male or female ok, stage presence a plus, also good memory. We don't mind if you use a lyric sheet for awhile, but at some point you should get to know a lot of songs without the sheets. Also, it would be nice if you had some songs you already could sing without looking at the words. And please, this is for a lead singer, you should have a good range. We play all over the Detroit metro area at bars, parties, outdoor festivals, even some lodges. We enjoy playing, make some cash, and are always open to learning new material. We are a tight band who need a new vocalist who has most Friday and Saturday nites free to gig. If you can play any instruments while you sing, you would be ideal.
