We are currently looking for Engineering Designer II to work in our Holland, MI facility.


The Role
Develops technical assistance in material selection, manufacturing processes, design performance test development, and product reliability. Ensures design and documentation of new and existing products meets established quality and performance standards, by applying basic engineering principles under moderate supervision.

Basic Qualifications
• Associates degree in Engineering or Design PLUS six years product design experience using design software, Solidworks, or ProE applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Design with four years product design experience using design software, Solidworks, or ProE applications.

Other Requirements
• Must have good knowledge of engineering practices and manufacturing processes of wood and sheet metal manufacturing.
• Must have working knowledge of Pro Engineer.
• Must be knowledgeable of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) drafting practices, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
• Ability to conceptualize multidimensional models on CAD or PC.
• PC and keyboard/mouse skills; working knowledge of company-supported software applications, especially spreadsheet applications.
• Working knowledge of processes followed within test lab environment during product development, including tolerancing, analyzing, and testing of prototypes.
• Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to ten percent of time.
