Hazel Park O.E.S. is having a pastie sale on Nov. 13. If you're in the neighborhood and would like to get your chompers on the biggest, best pasties around, please send your order to me - sharonjouppi@gmail.com - and I'll forward to our kitchen chair. Pasties are $3.00 each and come with or without rutabaga ; and, for our vegetarian members, they can also be ordered without meat. Pasties are completely cooked and wrapped for either reheating or freezing when you pick them up. Pick up is from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Jordon school, rear entrance, in Hazel Park. School is located on Woodward Heights Blvd., west of I-75 and east of Campbell. Pastie makers can be contacted at 586.995.5557 if you loose your way on the 13th.
