Who we are:
We’re an original female-fronted indie rock band with one gig under our belt, and more on the way. We’re a drummer, bassist, rhythm guitarist, and singer, and we need a lead guitarist to round out the group. Our influences include The Pixies, The Ramones, Dirt Bike Annie, The Clash, The Libertines, and way too many others to list here. We’re upbeat, we’re down to earth, and we’re mostly in our mid 30s and past the point of wanting to do this for a living. We are looking to record a demo/EP at an actual studio soon, though.

Who we need:
A lead guitarist who can jam and contrast with the rhythm guitar. Listen to “Frozen Summer,” for example, to get an idea of what we’re looking for. We need someone who can burn the occasional solo, but who will primarily add that melodic indie flavor to our songs.

We’d like someone who is talented and has a good, positive attitude, minus the ego or the need to start changing every song in sight. Past gigging experience would be great. Reliable transportation a must, as we practice every Monday evening in Ferndale. We’re trying to line up gigs for before the end of the year, so a quick study would be great (although our songs are fairly simple to learn). We try to keep things light and have fun.
