Looking for a seriously killer older guitarist that is into rock based IMPROVISATION. That does not mean structured songs at first although some will deffinitely come later as a result of the improvisation that we do together. Nor does it mean any affiliation with cover material. It means you can well pick up the instrument and jam with whatever comes at you by ear and feel alone and might even break a sweat doing so.

I would love to avoid the following:

1) People who do not follow through. If you say or convey your word, live up to it and be dependable.

2)Drugs or Alcohol. None. Period. Your brain and musical ability is a precious and priceless talent. Treat it as such.

3) People who have it all planed out ahead of time. Remember, this is about improvisation. Brand new creativity from the ground up. Do not bring a CD or pre written material with you unless you plan on paying me to play it.

4) Pretenders. Just because you can play a Joe Satriani or Frank Marino lick does not make you a killer guitarist. You should be able to have and play your own licks. You MUST have an excellent ear. If you have trouble tuning your guitar, you DON'T. For instance, when you learned a cover tune umpteen million years back, you learned it, and played it, just like the record. No two ways about it. Not some reasonable facsimile thereof that you pretend is just YOUR way of playing it. Also, no one that decided three weeks ago that after playing for 20 years you are going to get serious. Again, just the real deal PLEASE.

5) People that think rock is not a serious musical medium to explore and fuse various styles with. This is NOT jazz.
