Culture Writers

Educational publishing company is looking for freelance writers to compose cultural tidbits (in both the written and in video format) for a new high school Spanish textbook and interactive Web site.

We currently need people who are from the following countries:

1. Spain
2. Guatemala
3. Honduras
4. El Salvador
5. Nicaragua
6. Costa Rica
7. Panama
8. Cuba
9. Dominican Republic
10. Puerto Rico
11. Venezuela
12. Colombia
13. Ecuador
14. Peru
15. Bolivia
16. Paraguay
17. Chile
18. Argentina
19. Uruguay
20. Equatorial Guinea

Please do not respond to this ad if you have traveled to any of these places as just a tourist for a couple of weeks. We are looking for writers who have a solid and true understanding of each country’s culture and people. We need people who can offer a unique perspective on both well-known and lesser-known facts about each country; we're looking for personalized, first-person experiences. We are also interested in hearing from Latin American writers living in the United States (provided you continue to have a solid connection to your heritage and culture).

You must be able to travel to our office to conduct a video interview, or you should own some sort of digital video recording device.
