About tanner: Tanner is a 6 month old mix breed male. We believe tanner is a Corgi and Heeler mix. He is about 25 pounds and he probably wont get much bigger at all. Tanner is adorable and has the best personality. He loves everyone. Tanner would make a great family pet. He needs lots of love and attention. Since Tanner is just a puppy still he needs plenty of exercise because he has lots of energy. Tanner needs training and discipline but he is a smart little guy who will catch on quickly. He has had a distemper/parvo vaccine and been dewormed while in the shelter. The adoption fee is $35 and $25 will be refunded after proof of spay/neuter. State law requires you to sign a spay/neuter adoption agreement. All the animals adopted from the shelter must be fixed. We do not recommend that our dogs be adopted to homes where they will be chained up outside. The Newaygo County Animal Shelter runs on a first come basis. We can not hold the dogs because we can not pass up a chance for them to get a home. We do not accept any plastic cards as form of payment or out of town checks. Blue pt Siamese Female- Doesn't like Puppies or children. High loud voices scare her. She does Chirp. She purrs too. Takes about 2 weeks to Settle in, Maybe 3 weeks. Short fur. Collar is a little big but punch a hole in the collar and it will fit better. She is about 8 or 9 months young. Has claws. Uses post, not the furniture. Smart girl she is. Comes to her name. She IS a Sweet Kitty But Some times a little playful. She sleeps under the bed till she settles and then sleeps on the bed. She Adjust well. I had Vet care Done In the End of DECEMBER of 09.

Kitten 2.
She is almost 5 months of age. But shes very small. She is mostly brown. Looks like a brown tabby. She is a Persian Mix. She does have some white on her foot She is very quiet and SCARED of children. Best without them. If one comes by She hides for hours. Shes quiet. But once content does have a little purr. She sleeps next to kitten 1. Kitten 1 took her in as her little sister. Grooms her When and if she cries. Shes Very small for her age. The vet told me she is a smaller sized kitty a "miniature". She was Also fiv felv tested & is negative. Vet said her teeth show her age. She is almost 5months as i said. She Doesn't like to be held. She will lay on the bed when you are asleep and come to you IF and when she wants. She is a fast runner too. Nails get trimmed as needed. She is very Timid.

There are no levels, the bars are white and the plastic is a teal/green. Enough square footage for two rats, but would likely need some added levels for exercise/entertainment.

Age is not a huge issue. Must like other dogs (or at least just ignore them) because my mom has a small dog and we do visit from time to time.
I know the crazy rescue groups may flag me for saying this (in which case I'll just keep re-posting) but no-I will not pay hundreds of dollars, release my private information to you or any other crazy thing you want. Private owners ONLY please reply. I am open to you bringing the pet to my home so you can be sure I am legitimate etc. But I'm just not interested in adopting from a rescue so please do not send me your list.

Jo-Jo is a 4 year old 16 lbs spayed female Terrier/Dachshund mix.

She also has epileptic seizures and needs medication.

She's up to date on all her shots except the rabies vaccination that was due 8/10/09.

Jo-jo loves children, she's a great family pet but does not get along with other animals.
