You can rent a room to yourself in the upper unit of a 2 unit duplex. One person per room. Upper unit has a seperate entrance off the front porch. There are 3 bedrooms, each with their own deadbolt. There is 1 full bath w/ shower, breakfast nook, fridge, microwave and various other necessities for you to share with 2 others. There are some cooking supplies available as well. The upper unit is kind of a dorm setting. The amenities not available in the upper unit are readily available for your use in the lower unit (such as laundry and a full kitchen). You will have access to the lower unit for the use of these amenities.

There are 5 total bedrooms in the house. 3 in the upper unit, 2 on the main floor. Each floor has a full bath. The house is spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable.

Current roommates:
Co-ed living. Everyone is in their twenties. Single young professionals working or studying full time. We are all quite and respectable. We don't throw parties. noone has any kids or pets in the house. Nobody knew one another prior to moving in. Everyone gets along. No house drama. We all do our own thing, come and go as we please. The roomate situation is whatever you choose to make of it (if you want your privacy, you'll get it here). Pretty laid back here. With a month to month agreement and the proximity to Downtown Royal Oak, this is a great transitional house if you are new to the area, starting a new job, interning, taking classes or simply looking avoid the commitment of a long term lease. I have a home in Madison Heights which has been recently remodeled/updated. It's a 4 bedroom home w/ 2 beds and a full bath main, and 2 bedrooms w/ a full bath upstairs.
