Job Description

Looking for a motivated professional looking to start an exciting career in the computer field. Must be fluent in Microsoft Technologies including Office and Windows troubleshooting. Fluency in OpenOffice is a high plus.

Must be friendly, courteous, and patient when resolving issues over the phone. Looking for a an individual that is not afraid to take control of issues and get them resolved as they see fit.

Direction will be given, but it’s the responsibility of that individual to find ways to be more efficient and productive to fulfill goals set by management.

We are looking for an individual that loves working with new technologies and helping customers along the way. There is a lot of cross training so it’s a perfect environment for a self starter to work with different aspects of IT to enrich their knowledge. We are a demanding company that is very proud of our IT department so we are looking for an individual that can work well with a group and is not afraid to suggest new ideas and processes.

Work hours are from 11am to 7pm weekdays and every other Saturday from 10am till 2pm. Since this is an IT position there will be time’s where after hour and weekend work will be required to help support the staff in current project implementations.

Hourly rate ranges between $12.00 - 14.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience. Growth opportunities available - we promote from within!

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Objective

Troubleshoot and assist users with issues and resolve when possible
Alert Shore Mortgage staff during unexpected outages that impact workflow
Responsible for the ticketing system and making sure all tickets are handled in a given timeframe
Inventory new purchases and add to asset tracking system
Suggest new processes that will help streamline persistent issues
Assist Network Support with New Hires/Terms/Moves
Set up new equipment and move equipment during a Move/Add/Change request
