We are looking for an individual to work as field service engineer to support the machines that we build on site. The job involves travel for 3-5 day intervals. Sometimes 2 week intervals occur for overseas situations. Our equipment is currently in the US, Mexico, Philippines, Germany, Australia and China.<br>
<br>
Often trips involve troubleshooting a problem, making changes (upgrades) or serving as on site support in a precautionary sense. <br>
<br>
When not on the road, support work would be performed at our Novi, Michigan facility.<br>
<br>
DUTIES<br>
<br>
\\\"Start Up\\\" equipment on customer\\\'s floor, make program changes to software as needed (not write from the ground up), trouble shoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical problems. Talk with Customer to understand problems and communicate progress. Training customer on how to use the equipment.<br>
<br>
Other duties will include writing service call reports, tracking expenses, etc.<br>
<br>
QUALIFICATIONS<br>

Hands on practical experience is important in the following areas:<br>
<br>
- Bending and flaring tube (plumbing)<br>
- Using a multimeter<br>
- Troubleshooting hydraulics<br>
- Troubleshooting electrical systems<br>
- Allen Bradley PLC programming<br>
- Visual Basic programming<br>

- Communicating with people<br>

<description><![CDATA[Our company has been awarded a nationwide contract to perform a simple technical procedure to Thousands of Medical Devices located in Hospitals, Clinics, and various other Medical Facilities. We are seeking experienced and recent Bio-Med Tech grads to work in and around the larger Metro Regions. For example, if you are retained to work in Detroit, that may include coverage of a 100 mile radius. <br>
<br>
The task itself is relatively simple but requires a resource that understands the challenges and is trained to work in a medical environment.  The position will be as an Independent Contractor as the project is temporary. It is expected that the project will last between 9-12 months. Each resource will be paid by the hour and we will also reimburse for any authorized travel expenses.<br>
The equipment required to perform the tasks will be company provided and assigned to each Tech. Here are the expectations we have for qualified candidates:<br>
<br>
<br>
~ Must have some qualified and verifiable experience as a Bio-Med Technician.<br>
~ Must be available to start within 2-4 weeks.<br>
~ Must be bondable, able to pass a comprehensive background check including criminal, and drug. <br>
    (If you can't pass, we respectfully suggest you do not waste your time as no exceptions will be made.)<br>
~ Must be comfortable working in a hospital or medical environment.<br>
~ Must be well groomed and present a professional appearance.<br>
~ Must be extremely responsible and represent our company and our customer professionally.<br>
~ Must possess good communication skills and good organizational skills.<br>
~ Must be prompt and reliable.<br>
~ Must be able to follow instructions.<br>
~ Must be able to work efficiently to accomplish our daily work flow goals.<br>
~ Must have experience testing using an "Electrical Safety Analyzer".<br>
~ Must have your own reliable transportation and carry the appropriate automobile liability insurance. <br>
   (No exceptions on this point either). <br>
~ Experience working in a Hospital Environment is highly desirable.<br>
<br>
Acceptable candidates will go through a very short training program (on-line) to familiarize you on the project objectives, plan, and procedures. Once trained, our company will equip you with the required tools for the project. Candidates will then be dispatched to facilities within your assigned region to perform the required tasks (corrections and updates to existing medical equipment).  <br>
<br>
Assignments will be Monday through Friday and the facilities you are dispatched to could have several units to 1,500 units to be corrected. So, you may be dispatched at a specific location from 1 day to a couple of weeks. Techs will check in with us upon arrival each day and upon departure each day. Completion logs will also be kept and transmitted each day documenting progress. Candidates will work as part of a larger crew including some employees of the customer.<br>

Descriptions:<br>
Calls to the Contact Centre can be varied and complex requiring a wide range of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to assist, diagnose and or resolve issues. Help Desk Coordinators refer problems and issues to specialist groups when required. <br>

This also includes: <br>
 On phone diagnostics and troubleshooting <br>
 Liasing with Service Provider Groups and external vendors <br>
 Working to achieve team wide Service Levels for phone answer and resolution <br>
 Ensuring appropriate process standards are met and maintained <br>
 Accurate documentation of calls and problems <br>
 Initiate the problem management workflow process <br>
 Identification of areas of process improvement <br>
 1st Level telephone <br>
 Compliance to regional Call Handling procedure via Quality Monitoring program <br>
 Strive for a high level of first contact resolution <br>
 Deliver consistently high levels of customer service <br>
 Accurate documentation of calls and cases <br>
 Manage time and workload to meet predetermined service levels <br>
 Maintain data accuracy in call logging tool through contact validation <br>
 Assign problem cases and request tasks to the correct provider group <br>
 Follow up call logging tool cases and requests to completion <br>
 Perform appropriate diagnostics to initiate problem management workflow process <br>
 Provide clients with problem reference numbers and request numbers <br>
 Understanding of various media sources that interface with the Contact Centre <br>
 Support multiple clients through customer service professionalism and insight <br>
 To become multi-skilled as workload changes occur within the Contact Centre <br>
 To be able to champion, implement or support change <br>
 Identify process efficiencies within the Contact Centre and to take corrective action to <br>

Looking for a motivated professional looking to start an exciting career in the computer field.  Must be fluent in Microsoft Technologies including Office and Windows troubleshooting.  Fluency in OpenOffice is a high plus.  <br>

Must be friendly, courteous, and patient when resolving issues over the phone.  Looking for a an individual that is not afraid to take control of issues and get them resolved as they see fit.  <br>

Direction will be given, but its the responsibility of that individual to find ways to be more efficient and productive to fulfill goals set by management.<br>

We are looking for an individual that loves working with new technologies and helping customers along the way.  There is a lot of cross training so its a perfect environment for a self starter to work with different aspects of IT to enrich their knowledge.  We are a demanding company that is very proud of our IT department so we are looking for an individual that can work well with a group and is not afraid to suggest new ideas and processes.<br>

Work hours are from 11am to 7pm weekdays and every other Saturday from 10am till 2pm.  Since this is an IT position there will be times where after hour and weekend work will be required to help support the staff in current project implementations.<br>

Inventory new purchases and add to asset tracking system  <br>
Suggest new processes that will help streamline persistent issues <br>
Assist Network Support with New Hires/Terms/Moves <br>
Set up new equipment and move equipment during a Move/Add/Change request <br>
