BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. � November 4, 2009 � There�s a hot new fitness program starting in Bloomfield Hills on December 1 that�s been sweeping the country challenging exercise enthusiasts looking for a co-ed advanced training lifelong alternative to the traditional fitness bootcamp.

The program, called Intense Mixed Performance Accelerated Cross Training or IMPACT, will provide advanced participants of the Oakland County Adventure Bootcamps with a new fast-track 12-month fitness and diet program alternative.

�This new program provides participants in the Oakland County Adventure Bootcamps with the next level of fitness programs combining a rigorous workout routine with a diet program that�s designed to show quick results after only one month,� said Dave Krainiak, with the local IMPACT program. �It is also great for high school athletes incorporating a long-term fitness and conditioning program to help build endurance and strength for interscholastic sports and club teams.�

The co-ed IMPACT workout program is three days a week, for 55 minutes per session, and includes a warm up; strength, agility and quickness segment; strength training; cardio and flexibility training all in one intense session. It was developed in California, the fitness capital of the West Coast, by the founder of the National Exercise Sports Trainers Association Dr. John Spencer Ellis. However Dave Krainiak thought the program would be a perfect fit for the fitness enthusiasts in Michigan and launched the program in Bloomfield Hills.

�We have great fitness enthusiasts here in Oakland County that always want to try out the hottest exercise program that really delivers results,� Krainiak said. �Our IMPACT workouts are intense, but can be easily adapted to the skill level of nearly any bootcamp participants.�

Timothy McVeigh and Osama Bin Laden had something in common.
Each was a stunning tactical success, but a miserable strategic
failure.
My late ex-husband used to have a little saying for that.
On occasions where he put out a lot of effort and got little
benefit out of it, he would say, "Well, I sure kicked a fat
hog in the ass." He was usually referring to something a lot
less dramatic, but that saying would describe what McVeigh and
Bin Laden did perfectly.
Now why would anybody want to kick a fat hog in the
ass? Perhaps its just because they happen to know how.
The underlying principle of training at the police academy
is that when you get into any situation that requires action,
the action you take will be one that you know how to do.
Therefore you undertake training so that when the time comes,
you will know how to do something that may actually help you
solve the problem at hand.
There are plenty of different tactics out there to choose
from, though different activists tend to get in a rut with only
one or two kinds of actions. ELF uses arson. ALF liberates other
peoples' animals. Black Bloc assaults police (maybe they didn't
notice what the Black Panthers got for doing that) and destroys
property. NAACP used marches. Klansmen shout insults into a
microphone and then light a cross. ARA's shout insults at
Klansmen and then have a party. NFPA activists sit in trees.
Indian activists occupy places where they can be in the way.
Pro-lifers hang around abortion clinics and preach at the
clients. Unions picket. SOAWatchers tresspass on federal
property. Earth First! spikes trees and sabotages machinery.
There is a bit of a trap here. Once people get angry and
decide its time to take action, they seem to choose something
based on what they already know how to do. After that they tend
to repeat the same kind of actions over and over because:
1) Its still the main thing they know how to do, and now
with experience they know how to do it even better.
2) It got some results the first time and they assume it
will the next time. And the next. And the next.
3) They already have the gear and the tools they need
because that's what they used last time.
4) All the new people being recruited have seen the
actions on t.v. and think that's what they're supposed to do.

You have to decide what you are going to put in your own
head. You can find plenty of instructions for building bombs,
burning down buildings, picking locks, sabotaging expensive
equipment and destroying property. You might notice that
plenty of people have tried these tactics already and most of
them are either dead or rotting in prison. Meanwhile, the only
changes brought about by these things are more police, tighter
restrictions and more oppression.
If bringing down the towers failed to topple the government,
what do you think YOU can destroy that will do the trick? Are
you willing to do worse than that? And if you are, why would
the rest of us want YOU to be running the country?
There's a lot more to resistance than destroying things.
There's a lot more to put in your head than know-how on bombs
and bullets.
If you want that hog to do more than grunt, you're going
to have to do more than kick it. If you can't outsmart a hog,
that ain't the hog's fault.

Were you at Hayes and19 mile yesterday...need witnesses (Clinton Township)

Yesterday (10.31.09) on Hayes around 18-19 mile road (approx 3- 3:30 pm) a man in a white Jag was engaged in road rage against me. I am a young white female and was driving a Gold 2003 Chevy Cavaliar. He was tail gating , yelling, cursing and gesturing at me. He followed me into my apartment complex- Lakeside Villa- just n of 19 east off Hayes. He beat up my fiancee on the apartment lawn. If anyone seen any thing of this event please e-mail me. I was knocked out for a few moments, my fiancee was beaten, he said if the security guard came any closer to help he would kill my fiancee. The worst is that my 8 year old step daughter was standing there crying hysterically that her dad was being killed.
The wonderful Clinton Twnshp police finally arrived, strolled up while my fiancee was still on the ground being choked. The attacker was a quite large white mail with a very unshaven face.
The long and short is my fiancee was taken by ambulance to the hospital, I filled out my report and then had to go to the emergency....The VERY WORST....THE ROAD RAGE ATTACKER WAS LET GO....NO ARREST......
.If you seen anything please e-mail me as we need help to get these idiots off the road!!!
I also need input from anyone as to why the police did not arrest such a dangerous menace. If my fiancee had not been there to takethebeating what would he have done to me....or someday one you????? If there happens to be any law enforcement persons reading perhaps you can justify the release of these violent persons!!!

My 10 year old sons best friend had a cancerous brain tumor removed at Childrens Hospital in the spring of 2009 and he has been getting chemotherapy and radiation treatments ever since. He has 42 more weeks of treatments to go.

This little boy needs his mom by his side taking him back and fourth to the hospital for treatments and he cannot be left all alone - the problem with that is, she was a working mom putting in about 50 to 60 hours a week and now that she is taking full time care of her son she can no longer work.

To make things even worse she has recently become a single mom leaving her the sole responsible bill payer and with house payments due each month every penny that she had saved has been exhausted.

Local Photographer Participates in International Model Search

Eastpointe, MI�XOctober 22, 2009 �V Local photographer, Angela, of Angela Hibbert Photography, is participating in the 2010 International Charity Model Search to select North America��s Cutest Family and to raise funds for the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS.org). Last year��s competition featured 2,000 model��s images and raised $164,775 for the NILMDTS organization.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with volunteer photographers and provides them with a reproducible CD of the images of their baby at no cost to the family. Participating photographers submit portraits of local families for online voting. Finalists will be determined by online votes. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org).

The grand prize international winner will be determined from the 52 city finalists. Many exciting prizes will be awarded, and the grand prize winner receives a new car. The winners will be selected from the finalist gallery by photography and modeling industry experts. The winning family also receives a session with the renowned portrait artist Sandy Puc�� and international recognition.

Sandy Puc�S, Model Search sponsor, has long believed charitable work is the backbone of the community. She created this contest to highlight excellence in the portrait photography industry as well as raise funds for NILMDTS, the organization she co-founded in 2005.
