This listing is for a large, 1988, Franklin Mint, hand painted, bisque, porcelain figurine. It is titled "Sudden Warning", and it is by the artist Jim Ponter. Jim Ponter is a realist sculptor. He has a collection of works in the Western Heritage Museum. It depicts a cowboy, on his horse, rifle at the ready, startled by an arrow or spear landing close to them. A fossilized, steer scull shows Native American symbols near the arrow. This is a beautiful and realistic figurine. They are hard to come by. It is in very good condition. Measurements: 8" x 8" x 12.5", weighs nearly 4 pounds
