I absolutely love my 4x4 Jeep, But we just purchased a Ford Explorer so something has to go so unfortunately it has to be the Jeep, has the 5 speed Magna T335 manual transmission it is very reliable. Just back in December got the manual gearbox rebuilt because it just wasn’t grabbing as great also back in 2022 had the engine totally replaced with a different 2.4 engine due to an oil change facility not putting oil filter on correctly.
My Jeep has new brakes and hub bearings whole new front and suspension ball joints tie rods control arms also just got the alignment done last week after putting on all new parts. Also in addition Chrysler has given me an installed a whole new AC set new condenser dryer with new AC lines
The 2.4 engine currently has 129,611 miles I would drive my Jeep anywhere, it is a nice looking vehicle that I’ve done some aftermarket things too. Also will come with a factory set of new Tires/Rims..
I’ve owned a couple jeeps and the Patriot is the most reliable Jeep that I would drive absolutely anywhere in fact we just got back from Virginia in it last week from our family trip..
Check engine light comes on and off due to an O2 sensor issue but it does not affect performance
