Seeking Apartment/House Rental: Mid-August Move-in, Bankruptcy (Metro Detroit Area)

Hello prospective landlords,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently in search of a new place to call home and am reaching out to see if there might be a suitable rental opportunity available in the near future.

A bit about my situation: due to unforeseen medical circumstances, I am currently navigating bankruptcy proceedings. However, I anticipate a discharge date around July 15th, clearing the path for a fresh financial start. As a total and permanently disabled veteran, I've maintained a steady net income of $3737.85 per month since 2011. This income is reliable and stable.

Once the discharge is granted, I will have no other outstanding debts apart from my car payment. With this in mind, I am aiming to secure housing for mid-August to early September. To demonstrate my commitment and responsibility, I am willing to pre-pay up to three months' rent or offer a higher security deposit.

I understand the importance of financial stability in a rental agreement, and I am fully prepared to meet my rental obligations promptly and responsibly. However, I also recognize that my bankruptcy situation may raise questions. Therefore, I am transparently asking if it's feasible for me to apply and what my chances might be of being accepted considering the bankruptcy on my record.

If you have a property available that might suit my needs or if you would like to discuss further details, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am more than willing to provide any necessary documentation or information to facilitate the application process.

Thank you for considering my situation. I look forward to potentially renting from you and creating a positive and mutually beneficial rental experience.

Warm regards
