WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business.
• Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.
• Monitors the temperatures and pressure on equipment.
• Monitors water distribution cycle and water treatment.
• Monitors the steam cycle and distribution system.
• Responsible for reporting or correcting mechanical problems of unusual operating conditions.
• Responsible for maintenance of instruments and charts in prescribed manner.Responsible for training self in the duties of the Powerhouse Operating Technician to prepare for future advancement.
• Other duties as assigned.
