After many years, I am finally letting go of this show-ready setup that I have loved and appreciated for so long.
1) EB JP6 Music Man
2) Mesa Boogie Mark IV Combo Widebody
3) CORE Electronics Pedal board with Effects Pedals
4) Instrument cables
This package includes a 1st Gen Ernie Ball JP Music Man, 6-string, with Schaller Locking Tuners, Basswood body with a High gloss Polyester coating over the Cobalt Blue coloring (a style that has a cool, smooth way to grab ahold of the light when up on stage) and that has a scooped arm contour to reach up very comfortably to that 24th fret. The neck is a very smooth and comfortable birds eye maple with the fretboard being rosewood complete with stainless steel frets. The action on this thing is exactly the way it came to me 20 years ago and still plays like it came right out of the case. The pickups are both DiMarzio brand and this particular model also has a custom JP Piezo floating tremolo with Powerbridge saddles that use the natural resonance in the body to offer a very pleasant-sounding acoustic output (which requires a single 9-volt battery to operate). There are 2 input jacks: 1st for the Magnetic/Stereo output (combining both the Mag and Piezo pickups through one jack), 2nd for the single Mono/Piezo output to allow for additional connection with a completely separate amp strictly for that Piezo if you like. I have never once changed anything on this fiddle other than the strings; I’ve never needed to as I’ve spent the past 20 years keeping this instrument in a very careful and controlled environment. Anyone familiar with these particular guitars knows that they are carefully crafted and assembled by hand with utmost professional care. I am including my adjustable shoulder strap that has a small “pick pocket” on the front which came in handy every once in a while. Take note that this is not the “Sterling” version of this guitar, this is the official design that JP played on stage during the first years that he had signed on with Ernie Ball for his signature series guitars.
This guitar comes along with the factory-supplied original case shaped specifically for this instrument and has some damage to one corner (as shown in the pictures) but still protects the guitar in appropriate fashion. Included is a spare set of springs (never used) along with a case lock key (also never used) 2 wipe down cloths (1 unused) and still in package), a Roadie Rench, spare DiMarzio strings, and a small bottle of Dunlop 165 string cleaner/conditioner. I am also including a foldable guitar stand.
For the amplification, this package is including a Mesa Boogie Mark IV Combo Widebody. This thing is an absolute powerhouse. I am not even exaggerating. These amps are designed to be some of the best that people can invest their hard-earned money into because they are versatile, strong, dependable, and loud. Really loud. This amp has a rear-mounted Celestion Custom 90 watt Black Shadow speaker that has never given me anything but steadfast sound. This amp has a remote, rear-mounting foot switchboard that gives the player the option of 3 different main modes of sound which I’ve always used to offer those different sounds of Clean (Rhythm 1), Dirty (Rhythm 2), and a driving Lead channel that comes with the presence common with the Mesa company. Each of these channels have their own respective turn dial 3-band EQs, each with additional flavors of sound (Bright for Rhy1, Fat for both Rhy1 & Rhy2) and each channel offers Presence controls. Overall, these channels have an additional 5-band EQ that can be switched on and off via the remote foot switchboard that offers a way to give the player additional methods of changing and shaping the sound to fit their needs. This amp also has the ability to Slave out for using just the Head in cases that you want to run the sound through larger speaker cabs or directly into the mixing board for recording purposes. The amp is loaded with SPAX7 preamp tubes and a brand new set of 4 STR 445 Power Tubes that I have not taken out of the box yet to guarantee freshness. This amp has so much more to it that I do not have the space to include here which makes it so thoroughly valuable. I replaced the caster wheels a few years ago and added 2 with brakes to help as an option. This amp will also have an angled amp stand that I used to help hear the sound more directly while performing on stage and came in so useful to really dial in the sounds I needed. This stand folds flat for easier transport/storage and has small locks on it to keep it held in place to prevent damage.
The pedal board that is included in this package is a CORE Equipment diamond plated hard shell box with removable lid. The Pedals included are as follows:
1) Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume
2) Crybaby GCB95 Wah
3) BOSS DD-6 Digital Delay
4) BOSS CE-5 Chorus
5) MXR Phase 90 Phaser
6) Donner Echo Square Delay
7) Donner Verb Square Reverb
8) Keely Dark Side multi-effects
9) BOSS TU-12H Chromatic Tuner
10) Fender standard single button Footswitch (with 20’ extension)
11) Livewire Universal Footswitch (with 20’ extension)
All of the powered pedals are connected in daisy chain with a single Truetone 1 spot power supply. This package will also include two ¼” Instrument cables:
>20(ish) foot Gold tip Monster with physical switch end (Guitar to board)
>20(ish) foot basic cable (board to amp)
***NOTE: This package will be sold in its entirety. Breaking up the package into smaller parts for sale will devalue the overall package. Anyone who is dead-set on looking to buy singular parts will be charged exorbitantly.
I am not considering shipping of any of this because not only is it going to be an absolute nightmare to do so, but the Buyer would need to spend a whole lot more money just in shipping. I'm not about that life.
I am not looking for negotiations, so don't even think about it, Chooch. Anyone offering an alternative other than the asking price by offering a half pack of used gum and a mostly-full can of siphoned gasoline needs to really consider where they are in life and reconsider some of their life choices. I will also not even start to consider donating anything here. Take it somewhere else.***
