I am seeking an Event Specialist/Booking Agent for our Michigan based tribute band. We are “Detroit Speedwagon”, a collaboration of eclectic musicians paying tribute to the music of one of the greatest Classic Rock bands of all time, REO Speedwagon.
We recreate and perform all the hits from REO Speedwagon from the 70’s and 80’s including the many rock anthems and ballads that everyone knows and loves to sing along with.
I take on the role of singer Kevin Cronin and reproduce his sound, both vocally and instrumentally, playing acoustic and electric guitars, just as Kevin does in their live concerts. Then, the difficult task of recreating the sound of lead guitarist, Gary Richrath, is masterfully handled by our lead guitarist, Todd Ketcher to perfection. Then, add Larry James on keyboards and harmonies, Duff Durieu on bass guitar and harmonies and Eric Chesnick on drums to give the full experience and energy of an actual REO Speedwagon concert.
