Overview: We are seeking independent contractors to join our team as Drivers. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, and pallet jacks
- Load and unload goods and materials from vehicles
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations -
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
Qualifications: -
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver (minimum 2 years experience)
-Valid DOT Medical Card
- Knowledge of route driving and efficient navigation techniques
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy items
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
