Published in 1931 celebrating 100 years of the Detroit Fee Press newspaper (and its predecessors), this scapbook like folio was handmade in a scrapbook fashion, chock filled with glued in drawings, old Freep re-printed articles, photos, poems, history, trivia and many neat stories that made Detroit a city of 1.6 million inhabitants by 1931. I suspect it was some kind of special collectible item that Freep made/sold to subscribers. Each of 43 pages is on a heavy card stock like paper. Its 11 x 14, and hand bound. embellished with a tassel (cut off in pic).
A true, one-of-a kind collectible for the person who is interested in old Detroit.
