****-24 EIGHT -31 FIVE - 381 FIVE ****ORIGINAL INSTUCTION MANUAL for CLINTON J7 J8 J9 APACHE CHIEF OUTBOARD MOTOR---shows hot to OPERATE the OUTBOARD & COMPLETE PARTS LIST--the J 7-J8 J9 were usually 3.5 & 5 HP--basically exact same outboard but 3.5 hp was a detuned 5hp-notice how the INSTUCTION MANUAL illustration does not have a name on the side of the outboard--thats because CHIEF(mail order)-CLINTON(Clinton service centers) -APACHE(hardware stores) & PEERLESS(Peerless chain saw service centers) were ALL the same but the decal on the side--they were ALL Clinton outboards with a different name & market--note the Clinton rectangular 3 gallon tank & the TUBE PRIMER which by the way I have for sale at $10 ---****-24 EIGHT -31 FIVE - 381 FIVE ****
