1983 Catalina 25, swing keel, grey hull, "Training Keels"
Standard rig
Pop top
Dinette interior

Evinrude Yachtwin 9.9 hp outboard, long shaft, electric start

Includes steel cradle and winter storage fees for 2018-19. No trailer, but this is a "trailer-sailor" and the mast can be stepped by hand. Buy a trailer and store it at home?

Includes main sail w/cover and roller furling jib. Includes all equipment onboard, including life jackets, dock lines, winch handle, boat hook, paddles, flares (we need to check the expiration), fire extinguisher (a Kidde, which was recalled - a brand new replacement is in place), binocular. Electronic depth sounder. Standing rigging is in fair condition. Two anchors - a danforth main and a navy-style secondary. Wooden tiller handle w/cover.

This fine boat is located at Jefferson Beach Marina in St Clair Shores, MI and is available for inspection by arraignment. The boat is currently on the hard.

With its electric start and modest size, this is a very easy to handle sailboat and is ready for fun. Draft is 5'0" keel down, 2'0" keel up. See http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=407

(The boat is wet in the pictures)

Things we've done:

2015 Keel lifting kit (cable, turning ball, volcano tube)
Manual bilge pump rebuild
Cockpit cushions (eBay)
2016 Bottom Paint
Winch handle pocket
All running rigging replaced
2017 Keel pivot pin / bolts

The outboard had a full tune up winter 2016/2017 and the output tube/impeller was completely cleaned out.
We also had the sun cover on the genoa replaced and some of the worn slugs on the main sail replaced.

We did our best to restore the gelcoat. It was pretty badly oxidized, but we're happy with how it looks now. Sealed/waxed July, 2018.

What needs to be done:

The cushions below are in sad shape and need to be re-covered. We never used the water system, Princess alcohol stove or head. I expect the head to be functional and that the stove works (we can test it). The manual water pump probably needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The navigation lights need repair. The v-berth hatch gasket needs to be replaced. Adding a VHF radio would be a good idea. Some might like to restore the swing keel - this is a big job, but plenty is available online on what it takes.
