invaluable when you need to know the part & part number when searching the internet & ebay--I find them better than a service manual-SCOTT ATWATER started making outboards under their own name in 1946---by about 1956 they were bought out by the big 2 cycle power tool company McCulloch-for a few years they were SCOTT & then slowly became McCULLOCH different names but basically the same outboards -McCulloch tried to sell the company but there were no takers-McCulloch closed down in 1969-$2 EACH---2 for $3 ----5 for $7--10 for $12 --$20 for $20
