1982 Callaway Volkswagen Scirocco 96,000 miles
Car is Callaway Number 10
Possibly the nicest one left.
I have almost all documentation since new including the original window sticker and original Callaway documents. I have almost all receipts from the last 25 years that cover almost 25k from Munks in work. I have the receipt (in Deutschmarks) for the ATS wheels. I have Callaway warranty info, original owner paperwork, original warranty booklet, etc... Car has had 3 owners to my knowledge and the carfax confirms that. (Carfax also shows an "accident", the passenger mirror was damaged and was replaced, again I have paperwork from the original insurance claim confirming all of this.)
Callaway Stage 2 (from factory)
19mm Rear Sway Bar
Turbocharger (Stage 2 increased boost from 6 psi to 11psi)
Callaway Micro fueler
Heavy Duty Clutch
(Car did not originally come with the ATS wheels they were added after but they were a factory option)
Car was updated in the early 90s
Neuspeed throttle body
Sachs 210mm clutch
High flow oil pump
Baffled Oil Pan
Neuspeed Shift kit
Zender rear spoiler
Bosch Fog Lamps
Interior redone (seats are original recaros, just recovered)
(I believe upgraded brakes but I need to confirm)
Car is in incredible condition with virtually no rust (there are two small paint bubbles with no cracking, one by the rear hatch and one by the rear driver side window, both less than the size of my pinkie nail) By Michigan standards the vehicle is absolutely spotless. Underside of the rear bumper support has some surface rust.
I have literal tons of receipts for work/maintenance over the years, everything has always been kept in impeccable condition.
Paint is in incredible condition, body is straight and true with the only issue being a small bend in the passenger frame rail from someone trying to jack the car up.
Interior is in good to excellent condition, no cracks in the dash, no tears in the carpet, etc. Window regulators are a little slow. Biggest "issue" is the steering wheel is bent, looks like from grabbing on to it while getting in/out.
Reeves Callaway's signature on the underside of the glovebox.
Heat works great, AC has been removed, PS has been removed.
The car does not leak anything and drives great, vehicle shifts/boosts/operates like it should.
Please give me a call if you would like to ask any questions, these Sciroccos are getting hard to find in good shape stock, let alone an original Callaway.
