Selling extensive EZ Gro stackable Quad Pot system. We have the entire system needed to run this as a hydroponic system except the water drip hose system. Each pot holds four plants and this system is set up to hold 6 pots in each stack with 8 vertical stacks onto galvanized poles. The stack of pots can be easily rotated on the poles. There are a total of 48 pots, so it can hold a total of 192 large plants in an area about 4' x 18' and none of the plants are in the ground. It includes a 55 gallon white plastic drum to hold the water medium. You can even leave grass growing under the stacks if you want to! It uses non-soil medium. We used a 50/50 mix of Vermiculite and Perlite as the soil medium so it retains moisture and nutrients, but also allows for aeration of the plant medium. You can buy them at garden centers. We used it for growing green beans, tomatoes, various kinds of lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, hot peppers, bell peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and basil. It's great for any vegetables except root vegetables and plants with vines. Many people use them for strawberries. We had no loss of vegetation from nibbling critters and no slugs.
We used it for two years, but it will be usable for many, many years to come.
