Xena is an incredible gaited draft crossbred mare who is the perfect combination of style & comfort. She has picture perfect confirmation and turns heads wherever she goes. Xena is a stunning 12 yr old Percheron Tennessee Walking Horse cross who stands a stocky 16hh. She has wonderful ground manners, respects your space well and is a total angel for the farrier. Xena is a versatile and willing horse who is well broke to ride & drive. Undersaddle she is cool & confident. She’s an uncomplicated ride who has been extensively trail ridden, road ridden and river ridden by riders of all sizes and experience levels. She will walk quietly on a loose rein, move into a luxuriously smooth gait, pick up a steady trot and will also canter on command. She has a soft mouth and great breaks. She also responds well to voice and leg cues. Overall Xena is a willing and versatile horse that will go over or through anything you point her at. Things like chest-deep water, crossing bridges, going under tunnels or riding next to dogs or loud traffic don’t bother her one bit. She has proven to be steady minded & sure footed out on the trails. She will happily ride out alone, lead a group of horses or hang out in the middle or back of the group. She has also been trailered out to several parks around the state for all day trail rides and over night camping trips.
