6 Cylinder Continental "Red Seal" Gas Engine, Mounted Currently on F700 Chassis
This truck mounted engine is currently in use running a 72 gpm hydraulic three stage pump that powers a Hydraulic Excavator. I am willing to sell the 6 Cylinder Continential "Red Seal" gas engine separate from the excavator. The 6 cylinder Continental Red Seal Industrial engine is widely used in Hilos and Fork trucks.
- This engine is a Model F226 1217.
- This engine currently is connected to
72 gpm triple tandem hydraulic pump
- It has a Motor enclosure w/ 2 removable side covers that can be locked in position to keep the engine secure from vandals.
- There is an estimated 8 gallon fuel tank mounted within the enclosure that is located over the motor. It is filled from a fill port that passes through the top of the enclosure.
- It has a Marvel Schebler updraft carburator.
- Distributor System is a Fairbanks Morse
The motor with it's enclosure decoupled from the hydraulic pump can be purchased for $1,000 CASH. I can lift the motor into your truck or trailer.

This engine is mounted currently on a Model 200 TM HOPTO which was built by Badger Machine Co a Division of Warner Swasey. This company eventually became the Gradall Co. Gradall today is known for their truck mounted excavators. HOPTO actually stands for Hydraulic Operated Power Take Off.
So I am selling the complete unit for scrap value hopefully to someone who wants to repurpose or put this unit back into service. I am selling this complete unit for $2500 CASH.
