He’s less than two years old and not hand tame, but he was hand raised so a dedicated home could potentially change that. He did have the start of a recall but he can be hormonal and that resets his training progress. He was clipped when I got him but was still able to fly quite well, and he isn’t clipped now. He doesn’t fly super often but he is able to.
He’s a pretty quiet bird with a few moments of chatter each day, but he’s not screetchy or boisterous whatsoever.
I think he would love to go to a home with another conure, and I’m hoping his home will have that. He will flock call to the blue jays at the bird feeders, so I really think he wants a buddy.
His new home MUST provide destroyable toys for him and plenty of things to do in his cage/aviary. He is a little buzz saw and a very busy bird that is so much fun to watch. He will play with his toys all day long and loves to shred them! He’s so fun to watch and he’s an absolute character.
I’m asking for a $300 rehoming fee for just him, but this is negotiable to the right person.
My priority is finding him somewhere that will give him plenty of toys and space to be a bird, ideally with another conure buddy.
