Wajahat Ali, a New York Times contributing op-ed writer and CNN contributor expressed glee as “#MassacreMoscowMitch” — an apparent reference to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) — trended on Twitter Monday and even tweeted out the hashtag himself.
Truly, another celebration of violence.
PS... Nice to see you posters keeping that 20th century racism alive. No mention of the current ongoing building boom that excludes low income housing, just $450,000 condos for the rich. No mention of the ongoing violence snuffing out Detroiters lifes or any help for the homeless. But why mention these problems when you can just keep reliving the 20th century.
I am also a child of the 50's and grew up on 8 mile. We enjoyed pony cart rides & picnics on Belle Isle, bus rides to Hudson's on Christmas, Boblo Island cruises (without shootings) and the glorious parks Detroit offered. Being a sole single parent of 4, my children also enjoyed what Detroit offered. We were brought up to respect all, regardless of race. In my later years, I worked extensively with the Detroit Exchange Club to combat child abuse & inner city hunger. We actually had hands on events with inner city kids, bowling events, picnics, etc. & worked at the local soup kitchens. But, since I am a white male, liberals will always peg me as a racist. Go figure...
Keep up that good old fashion 20th century racism. It does NOTHING for Detroit's current problems and adds NOTHING to correct those troubles.
