Modern Skate & Surf is Michigan's original Skate Shop (since 1979).
We operate the third largest indoor skatepark in North America, as well as a retail store and a small events center just north of Detroit, Michigan. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Sales Associate with opportunity to advance.
We are looking for some motivated individuals to join our team!
Responsibilities include:
• Day to Day operations in both the shop and skate park
• Visual Merchandising
• Customer Service
• Communication with the leadership team
• More responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Retail experience preferred (action sports/skate preferred)
• Strong sales skills
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Customer service experience
• Flexible and adaptable schedule - must be able to work weekends and nights.
• Coachable
