Genuine RSP1A SDR shortwave and general coverage receiver. It is slightly larger than a deck of cards. This all band, all mode tuner is a good starting point for beginners, shortwave listeners, experimenters, and preppers. No license is required. You can hear AM, FM, weather, amateur (ham), Morse code, emergency, air and marine traffic, satellites, international news and music services and more. It covers most of the entire radio spectrum up to 2GHz with no gaps.

It works via USB with a computer, laptop or tablet, ham software (included), and one or more antennas. You can hear lots of stuff with just a long wire hanging out of the window or an inexpensive ($40) small loop antenna indoors. There are free ham software programs available for Macs, PCs, Linux, Android, iOS, and Raspberry Pi on the web.

For licensed amateur radio operators it can be used as a panadapter to control your transceiver and for scanning local repeaters. The free Windows software (no license fees) provides wide spectrum and waterfall views for fast tuning and band switching, controls for gain, noise filters and more. The programmable scanner works on all bands. (See review below).

Includes a USB cable with noise chokes, a data file for scanning local VHF/UHF repeaters, and SDRuno Windows software. Manuals, more software, and training videos are available from SDRplay.com and Youtube.

$65. Cash and local pickup only.
