Utility Trailer with a conversion to carry a Motorcycle
The chassis is a standard Harbor Freight trailer kit that has been outfitted for use as a utility trailer and/or a motorcycle trailer. Wooden sides have been added. The front and rear panels are removable. At the front a chock has been added to hold a motorcycle wheel. A wooden ramp is included to allow easy loading.
With the front panel in place, it is a standard utility trailer - good for hauling mulch, lumber, furniture, etc. With the front and rear panels removed, it is great for carrying a small motorcycle. Tie down eyebolts are installed in the bed for securing the load or supporting a motorcycle.
Stand flat 5 pin plug connection. All lights work. Bought this trailer to carry a motorcycle from South Carolina to Michigan. Cruised all day - 750 miles - at 65 MPH with no problems.
Includes a spare tire and wheel and the original operating instructions. There is no title or registration, but it does include the original "Certificate of Origin for a Vehicle" from Harbor Freight. It was purchased in the Carolinas and registration was not required there.
Per Harbor Freight, the maximum load capacity is about 1000 lbs. The tires are 4.8-8 (B) Tubeless, 4 ply. The wheels are 4 bolt. The coupler is rated for 2000 lbs maximum. The hitch ball is 1 7/8".
