If you have your bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant accounting/controller experience, Aalberts wants to hear from you! CPA/MBA is preferred but not required.

Essential duties/responsibilities: 

• Establish, monitor, and enforce financial policies and procedures for all plants  
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls  
• Responsible for delivery and management of year-end audit process  
• Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collect, analyze, and consolidate financial data; recommend plans  
• Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data  
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends  
• Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reporting to the management team and third parties  
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax related regulations, laws and filing requirements  
• Maintain accounting staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees  
• Maintain accounting staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results  
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies  
• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential  
• Expected Travel: less than 15%  
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
