Early 20th century oil painting by P. Carter after Jules Brenon's Song of the Lark. The painting has a 4" scratch in the lower left corner and 2 quarter inch chips, but no tears. there is some very modest craquelure and some very faint spotting in the sky area that appears to be soil splatter. The gesso frame has some minor damage along the lower left corner.
