Louis Annin Ames made flags for he U.S. beginning in 1896.
Back in 1915, Ames put out a 4-page pamphlet which included specific days the flag should be displayed; how to portray the flag; and how to salute it. The pamphlet ends with the Oral Flag Salute which is a shortened version of The Pledge of Allegiance.
The back cover is an advertisement for two different flag companies in 1915.
The pamphlet measures 2 1/8 x 6 1/8 inches closed an opens up to 4 1/4 inches wide.
