This very old scene was reprinted from an original photo or photo postcard from the late 1800s based on the clothing of the two women.
It shows two well-dressed Victorian women ready to set sail in a very small sailboat. While it doesn’t look like they were in the right clothing for sailing, it was the last 1800s after all.
The previous owner affixed the reprint onto a cabinet card-type cardboard backing to fit the theme of the photo.
Please excuse the crude watermark, but it’s the only way I have to protect the image.
The frame itself measures 6 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches while the photo itself is 3 3/4 x 4 3/4.
