It does have a receptacle to allow plug in connection of stereophonic sound unit, tape recorder, or an external speaker. You can also connect a tape recorder and record any record played on this. It did work well about 10 years ago, then sat in the closet. I did pull it out of the closet and plugged it in and did get any platter movement. I really didn’t mess with it nor do I want to. Very clean aesthetically.

I also have a bunch of 78s listed as well
