Vintage 1950's "Elinor Gay Original" Black Taffeta & Chiffon Cocktail/Evening Dress - This is a classic "Little Black Dress". It has a crepe chiffon overlay with a deep taffeta trim on the bottom and left side. The left side piece is topped with a taffeta bow and rhinestone pin (no missing rhinestones). It has a black lining and net petticoat for fullness. It closes in the back with a metal zipper and button at the neck. This seems to be a larger size because there is a tag on the petticoat that reads "Size 16". It still has a small waist, but allows for a larger bust. I was going to put this up for $50, but decided on $30 instead because I do see some small holes in the chiffon in the bust area.

Bust - 40"
Waist - 29"
Shoulder to Waist - 17"
Waist to Hem - 25"
