Vintage 1950's Royal Blue Taffeta Strapless "Bubble" Party Dress - What a lovely color and style this dress is. It is made of a royal blue taffeta with a light blue taffeta accent. It has a poofy bubble-style skirt and light buckram type of petticoat underneath. The skirt is full enough that you could still add a small petticoat underneath for extra fullness. On the taffeta ribbon that hangs off the left side, it looks like there must have been something sewn on top of it at one time (a bow maybe?). You could either put a decorative pin over the exposed edges of the strip or take it off and flip that part underneath so it doesn't show. The bust has boning in both the front and sides and it closes with a back zipper. There is no maker or size tag, but I would estimate this as a Small to Medium.

Waist - 26"
Center Bust to Waist - 9"
Waist to Hem - 24"
