Men and women over the age of 18 who gamble, even occasionally, are wanted to participate in a research study about a behavioral training, using virtual reality and breathing techniques, to reduce cravings associated with gambling.
Participation will involve 12 to 15 visits during the study. Participation will require attending at least two visits a week for 6 to 9 weeks.
Participation is voluntary and confidential.
Participants will be compensated up to $340 for their time and travel to study sessions.
This study is directed by Principal Investigator, Dr. Massil Benbouriche. The study will take place at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
