The GOOD: One owner 4-door Ram Pickup. 2-wheel drive with posi differential. 360 V-8, Silver exterior. Black/silver interior. Alloy wheels. Appears 100% stock to me with no modifications. Well maintained by mechanic owner. Regular oil changes every 3,500 miles since new. Trans/filter and coolant changes per maintenance schedule since new. Recent tune-up (plugs, wires, rotor). Newer shocks and sway bar links. Always reliable. No accidents. Starts immediately. Idles smoothly. Exhaust quiet. I see no leaks. If you're familiar with this series of trucks you know a lot of them are still running strong with 250k plus miles.
The BAD: Typical SEVERE Ram bed rust over wheelwells on both sides. Includes R & L quarter patch panels but since obtained and not installed rust has progressed and patch panels WILL NOT cover entire areas of rust. Rear bumper rusted out. Interior of bed/box and frame appear solid Truck dirty as sitting the last 3-4 months since owner obtained new vehicle. Seat cover on front seat - I did not take off but assume fabric failing is why owner installed seat cover
NEEDS: Tires ( 2014 dates, tread down near replacement indicators and weather-checking), RR brake caliper (sticking from sitting). Neutral safety switch (starts in neutral - does not always start in park). LR taillight - lens detached from housing. No power to accessory cooling fan - fan condition unknown. Dents LR (taillight area of bed , LF hood). Horn not working - owner thinks it's switch in steering wheel?
Note / disclaimer : I am assisting owner with sale and information is accurate to the best of my knowledge. Truck available for viewing in Lincoln Park.
$2,150.00 / best offer.
Note: It's day 5 of this post. Price reduced by $100. If not sold in 5 days will continue to reduce price until sold. For $100 in parts and a few hours work this will be a very reliable truck that would service you well (if cosmetics are not your main concern) for quite a while
