I am a licensed small engine mechanic, retired volunteer fireman, and enjoy working on lawn equip't, and now, chainsaws. PLEASE read the entire posting. Deal with confidence; deal with the Chainsaw Dr.

Be sure to look at ALL of my postings, everything I have is posted. If you don't see it, I don't have it. Common sense.... I am parting with project machines that I am unable to finish. These saws are all complete, and come with paperwork, all extra parts I have purchased, and my notes, as to my work thus far. My shoulder needs attention.. My Family want me to down-size. ALL of these chainsaws are mine. They are priced fair.

This next unit is a Husqvarna 345available ....it needs REPAIR, and so do I.
The machine came to me as a running trade-in. These light-weight 45cc Husqvarna's are the farmer/rancher/property owners go to for firewood. The powerhead needs REPAIR. NOTE: A bar/chain combo is optional.

I test cut with the saw before buying. The simple issue was a lack of oiling. I completely cleaned the unit, and rebuilt the drive side. NIP Parts installed = Oil hose $5, Oil pump gear $5, clutch assembly $15, sprocket drum with 7T x 3/8" Rim & bearing $30, = $55.

Next, I addressed the recoil side, which had a bad pulley. The entire re-coil was replaced $30. Finally, I installed a NIP OEM clutch cover/decal. $30. = $60
Take a look at the photos; the machine is spotless. Its worthy of further service, to be sure.

While the compression test = 135 psi, and the piston/cylinder are clean and unmarked, the saw continued to run out of power under load. I performed a leak-down test, and the engine leaks.

With 7 saws ahead of this unit, it was set aside for a short time, Recently, I went back to it. I suspect the crank seals are bad. I'm no longer able to continue with the saw.

Mechanically inclined guys with a work bench, tools, and in need of a project, this is worth the afternoon spent making this 345 roar again. Good Luck, The Chainsaw Dr.

I am out of pocket $165,, which is a shame. It sells for 50.
Also, I purchased a NIB OEM 18" Bar/Chain...it goes with the unit for + 30 bucks.
$80 if you want the entire saw, complete. Just fix it, and go to work.

Please call and leave a message. NO text; I do business with a handshake, not my thumbs. Figure this is a landline. Use the phone. I return calls daily. Hang-ups are auto-blocked by Google Voice.
If you are a young guy tethered to your smartphone, buy a beaver.....
Good Luck! The Chainsaw Dr.
