Here is another firewood-intended chainsaw from Stihl. The 025 / 250 has been around awhile. Defintely a woddsman favorite.
This saw is typically used by tree services, as a ground saw. Ranchers/property owners/farmers have the MS250 as the go-to saw. With a std. 18" set-up, running .325 pitch, its known as a strong running model. Slice up those 16" logs, into 16" blocks, start loading.
This chainsaw comes from an orchard grower. Harvesting dead apple trees for the Shop woodstove, it never really ran much....bounced around in a Gator cart until needed. I go into every engine. Cylinder/piston/ring inspection shows factory shine. No scoring. 150 psi comp. Like a new engine. Covers are scuffed so, I installed all new. Its important that my saws look as new as possible. The set-up is a $80 bar/chain...NIB.I included a 2nd $40 FULL-chisel Chain, NIB. Try to find a better deal, and good luck.
I am thorough. When I re-condition a machine, every part that I deem worn, gets replaced. That makes it worth it, for you, for me...
I cleaned the entire saw, dealt with simple cosmetic issues, and took it into the woods.
I provide a OEM manual,, 4 Gals x oil mix , NIP bar wrench, , NIP guide bar scabbard, spare tune-up parts, , bottle of bar oil, , , my guarantee, etc. Thats 70-90 bucks worth of free stuff! Another Chain Saw Dr. touch.
