This 2013 Honda PCX scooter runs perfectly. I got it at the beginning of a return to motorcycling, after a 10-year hiatus.
I've had no problem retraining my old skills. This would be a great scooter for anyone to practice on, without worrying about changing gears. It'll be easy to get around as long as you keep it.
There's an aftermarket seat cover on it that looks good and makes the ride more comfortable. I've had a back fusion, and because of that, I put extra gel seat pads on, which provide more comfort on the ride.
The fundamentals of motorcycling are all there: using the brakes effectively, for one.
On the left, the brake lever handles linked braking, combining the front and rear brakes.
The lever on the right places pressure solely on the front brake.
You will complete your stops exactly where you want to. The key to getting your endorsement is throttle control, braking, and basic body mechanics, which are easy to learn on this bike.
It's fun for commuting and can be used for food delivery. It sips gas and gets up to 100mpg, depending on the rider. Easily gets to 65mph.
You can put a full-face helmet under the seat, along with gloves and a jacket.
