For your consideration is a very rare Speedster Class A 40 Amp in excellent condition. I am the original owner. I bought it directly from the designer, Eric Collins, off Ebay in 2008. I have the original, 13-page Ebay listing that describes everything about the design and the components in great detail. The idea was to design an amp that was switchable from a Marshall JMP 50 and a Vox AC30. This is done with a toggle switch on the front using a single coil and humbucking pickup graphic to differentiate the two voicings. Only 51 were made, and 5 were designed for Europe with 230v transformers. This is serial number 42. The face panel is machined anodized aluminum. The speaker grill is powder coated steel. It is a Class A design, switchable between 20 and 40 watts. The controls look simple, but they have a lot of range. The speaker cabinet is a semi closed back design loaded with two Eminence Red Coat Stonehenge speakers. There are two of these for sale on Reverb, both listed for over $2000. This has never been gigged. Studio and personal use only. It was tested and cleaned by Guitar Hi-fi in Royal Oak on 12/20/23. It is in perfect working condition.
