Relatively new Hamtramck/Detroit area band Dustward are looking for a 2nd guitarist. Must have reasonable experience, unique stage presence, energetic, songwriting skills, solid gear, transportation, availability, knowledge of melody, capability of playing more than just bar chords, knowledge of theory, playing solos, no communication problems, willingness to promote and most of all no issues with drinking or drugs. Practice is usually on tuesdays. As of now we have a set of original music and 2 covers. Once a week. Goals are recording music. having merch, playing shows etc! etc! Preferably between the age of 30 to 60. We don't discriminate. Influences are are a blend of bands like: Black Flag, Husker Du, the Stooges, the Cure, the Foo Fighters, the Pixies, Alice in chains, Ghost, Joy Division, David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Piolets, Ween, Modest Mouce, Tool, Rush and a bit of classic rock, metal and prog. Send email if interested and we prefer to have some video footage of yourself playing sent at some point before having anyone over for auditions. That way we don't waste anyone's time. The whole idea behind this project is to not waste anyone's time. Thank you!
