Getting rid of salt is a start, but getting rid of the gerrymandering that keeps Republicans in power in the state house is the only way we will reverse Rule 51, pension tax, and right to work legislation that is killing our state.

Rule 51 places state funding for roads into a political cauldron where rural and outstate senators and representatives have equal or greater power than those in southeast Michigan. Southeast Michigan, with it clay substrate, is the worse place to build high speed, high traffic highways. That, and the fact that wheels on concrete has no bearing on road funding. Of course there are more vehicle miles driven in Detroit than in any other area of the state, and yet the funding is done by county and mile driven equation that doesn't fairly represent both the gas tax realized and the clay substrate we are forced to deal with.
Republicans are mean and stupid.
