UPDATE: I have replaced water pump and installed new belts on the truck! I bought this 1986 GMC 3/4 ton plow truck in 1998 after the big blizzard that shut down my business until my street could be cleared of snow. It was a City of Farmington schools plow and had super low mileage. Ran great and pushed the snow! Was pretty rusty when I got it from carrying salt. I replaced the rusty bed with one off a 1992 and also put an Oklahoma cab and fenders on it probably 20 years ago. I used it for several years when it snowed over 4" but I parked some stuff in front of it after I sold my vending business and it hasnt been run for probably 10 years.
I bought new batteries for it and ran a fuel line into a gas can as the tank has 10 year old gas in it. I got it started but from sitting, the water pump has seized and burned off the alternator belt. The plow pump has also leaked its hydraulic fluid out. Will need fluid to lift the plow and the truck has a rusty frame. It has a 73K ORIGINAL mile 350 Chevy with Dana axles and asking price is fair for just the running gear. Youll need to have this towed away.
Need to get this truck sold or moved soon but pretty firm on price. Call if interested
