Vintage Steiff Fully Jointed "Jocko" Monkey / Chimpanzee - This toy does not have a tag, but in all my research, he keeps coming up as a Steiff toy and is possibly named "Jocko". He is fully jointed with wire inserts for posing and seems to be filled with sawdust. As you can see from the photos, the wire is pushed out in the hands and the hands/feet are bent over and need to be straightened back out (I was afraid to mess with them). His left arm, legs and head move perfectly. It looks like there might be an issue with the shoulder of the right arm that needs to be addressed. He still has loads of fur (which may be mohair), but it is dry and brittle and whenever I set him down, I see a number of little flecks there. I'm not 100% sure if it is the fur or the stuffing, but I think it's the fur. If you can mostly address the issue with the wire in the right hand, he will be perfectly displayable.
